Rainbow was responsible for all of the electrical installation for the University Memorial Center building on the University of Colorado - Boulder campus, including design.

CU's University Memorial Center Expansion and Renovation Project began in September 1997.

December 2001-- Phase 1 was completed. The new wing opened, adding 51,000 sq. ft. to the existing 212,169 sq. ft. The former Loggia, now a 5-story atrium, and the Glenn Miller Lounge re-opened. Renovation of the CU Bookstore was completed.

February, 2002-- Phase 2 began, involving the renovation of much of the existing 212,000 sq. ft. building.

August, 2002-- The UMC Expansion and Renovation Project was completed. All departments and offices within the UMC, including the Women's Resource Center, SOFO, Program Council, the Copy Center and all student organizations, moved into their new offices.
